Boys Varsity Bowling, Girls Varsity Bowling · Bowling Teams Split Matches With Northwest


The Pennfield High School varsity bowling teams welcomed I-8 opponent Northwest to M-66 Bowl on Wednesday afternoon for another Interstate Eight Athletic Conference match.  The varsity girls team defeated Northwest 27-3, while the varsity boys team fell to the Mounties 22-8.

The Lady Panthers were led by junior, Hannah Ruoff who bowled individual games of 166-205.  Junior, Abigail Byrd had a high game of 192 and senior, Faith Grupczynski had a single game score of 186.

The Panthers were led by junior, Jeff Stockwell who bowled a high game of 224.  Senior, Carson Dyer had game scores of 180-192 and sophomore, Marcus Hall had a high game of 196.

The varsity bowling teams will be back in action on Tuesday, February 23rd when they travel to Jax 60 Lanes in Jackson to battle their I-8 rivals Lumen Christi High School.  Those matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30pm.
