The Pennfield High School varsity volleyball team traveled to Northwest High School last night to wrap up Interstate 8 Athletic Conference regular season play.  The Lady Panthers fell to the host Mounties 3-1.  With the set back, Pennfield finishes league play with a 5-2 record.

The match was tightly contested throughout.  Northwest won the first set 25-22 and the Lady Panthers won set two to even the match at 1-1.  The Mounties captured the next two games by identical 25-20 scores to win the match.

The varsity volleyball team will be back in action on Saturday, October 24th when they host non-conference foe Stoney Creek High School.  The match is scheduled to begin at 10:00am.
