The Pennfield High School varsity bowling teams hosted I-8 rival Coldwater last Wednesday afternoon at M-66 Lanes in a league match and the varsity girls’ team dropped a 16-14 decision to the Lady Cardinals, while the varsity boys’ team defeated Coldwater 22-8. The varsity girls’ league record falls to 1-1 and the varsity boys’ team improved to 2-0.
For the Lady Panthers, senior, Steffanie Woodman led the way with a high game of 212 and a 379 series. The Panthers were led by senior, Deven Pierce who had a high game of 199 and junior, Carson Dyer who had a single game score 187.
The varsity bowling teams will return to league play on Tuesday, January 14th when they travel to Northwest for another I-8 match. Bowling is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm.
