Panthers News · Varsity Boys’ Bowling Team Qualifies for the MHSAA State Tournament


The Pennfield High School varsity boys’ bowling team traveled to Continental Lanes in Kalamazoo last Friday to compete in the MHSAA Division 2 Regional tournament.  The Panthers who have won back to back state championships, earned their way back to the State tournament where they will look for the three-peat.    Pennfield finished third in the regional behind Sturgis and I-8 rival, Coldwater.  The top three teams from each regional move on to the state tournament at Century Lanes in Waterford on Friday, March 1st.

Senior, James Ruoff bowled a 297 in the final game of the day to lead the way for the Panthers.  The other Pennfield varsity bowling team members are Andrew McKibbin, Jacob O’Donnell, Dillyn Spicer, Deven Pierce, Charles Weever and Carson Dyer.
