Panthers News · Varsity Girls’ Bowling Team Clinches Interstate 8 Crown

The Pennfield High School varsity girls’ bowling team hosted I-8 rival Coldwater on Wednesday afternoon at M-66 Bowl and defeated the Cardinals 21-9.  With the victory the Lady Panthers moved to 12-0 overall on the season and 9-0 in the I-8.  In the process of winning their ninth consecutive league match of the season, they also clinched the Interstate 8 League title for the third straight season.

Leading the way for Pennfield against Coldwater was senior, Kelsey Kipp with a high game of 195.  Fellow classmate, Haley Hooper bowled games of 176-189 and the team had a high Baker game of 215.

The varsity girls bowling team will be back in action on Saturday, February 9th when they travel to Airport Lanes for the I-8 Singles Tournament.  Bowling is scheduled to begin at 1:00pm.
