Panthers News · Varsity Boys’ Bowling Defeats Coldwater

The Pennfield High School varsity boys’ bowling team hosted I-8 rival Coldwater at M-66 Lanes on Wednesday afternoon and defeated the Cardinals 21-9.   This victory avenges an earlier loss to Coldwater and moves the boys’ record to 10-2 overall in dual matches and 7-2 in the Interstate 8.

The boys’ team put it all together yesterday bowling games of 996 and 1005.  Leading the way for the Panthers were seniors, Jake O’Donnell and Andrew McKibbin respectively with games of 245-205 and 209-193.  Junior, Deven Pierce had a high game of 237 and senior, James Ruoff added a game of 210.

The varsity boys’ bowling team will be back in action on Saturday, February 9th when they travel to Airport Lanes for the Interstate 8 Single Tournament.  Bowling is set to begin at 1:00pm.
