Panthers News · Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling Teams Defeat Lumen Christi


The Pennfield High School varsity boys and girls bowling teams traveled to Airport Lanes yesterday afternoon for I-8 contests with Lumen Christi High School.  Both the Pennfield varsity teams came away victorious, the boys won by the score of 20-10 and the girls defeated the host Titans 23-7.  The Lady Panthers improved to 10-0 overall in dual matches and 9-0 in the Interstate 8.  The Panthers improved to 9-2 overall and 7-2 in the I-8.

Leading the way for the Lady Panthers were junior, Steffanie Woodman and senior, Haley Hooper.  Steffanie set two school records and a conference record with a single game of 284 and a two game series of 467.  Haley bowled individual games of 247-210. For the boys, sophomore, Carson Dyer had a high game of 225 and junior, Deven Pierce added a single game of 208.

The varsity boys and girls bowling teams are back in action on February 6th when they host Coldwater at M-66.  The matches are scheduled to begin at 3:30pm.
