Ex KVA foe Kalamazoo Christian travelled to Pennfield for an early Friday game, and tied the Panthers 1-1. The teams exchanged goals only 3 minutes apart, about midway into the first half. Scoring for Pennfield was Chase Austin, un-assisted. Keith Browand was in goal for Pennfield, making 8 saves. Strong midfield performances came from Keith LeRoux and Joel Smith, while Matt Hanks and Archie Smith had solid play in the back four. Pennfield is now 3-2-1, and will start I8 Conference play next week.
