Varsity Girl’s Bowling Team Has 5 Individuals Earn All-Conference Honors

The Pennfield High School varsity girl’s bowling team competed in the Interstate 8 Conference Singles Tournament on Saturday, February 11th at M-66 Bowl.  The Lady Panthers had five individuals earn All-Conference recognition for their performances.

Kelsey Kipp and Haley Hooper finished in second and third place respectively in the girls singles competition with a six game pin average of 170 and 168.  Megan Elwell and Makayla Skidmore finished in sixth and seventh place with six game averages of 162 and 159 respectively.  All four were named All-Conference.

Alexis England also had a solid performance on Saturday finishing in 11th place overall with an average score of 151.  She earned Honorable Mention All Conference for her efforts.

The varsity girl’s bowling team will be back in action on Wednesday, February 15th when they host non-conference opponent Olivet High School at M-66 Bowl.  The match is scheduled for a 3:30pm start.
