Varsity Boy’s Basketball Falls at Coldwater 65-44

The varsity boy’s basketball team traveled to Coldwater High School on Tuesday night to take on the Cardinals in an Interstate 8 Conference contest and were defeated by the score of 65-44.  The Panthers fell behind 18-5 after one quarter and were forced to play catch up the rest of the evening.  At one point they pulled to within six points in the second half but were never able to get any closer.

The Panthers were led in scoring by senior, Ronald Jamierson with 18 points.  He was followed by fellow senior Francois Jamierson who contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds. With the loss Pennfield falls to 3-3 overall and 1-3 in the Interstate 8.

The varsity boys will be back in action on Friday, January 13th when they play host to Hastings High School in another I-8 match up.  Game time is scheduled for 7:30pm.
